I had a housewarming party on Saturday. I actually arrived very late to the party. I was coming back from LA, and was somewhat stranded. I had to jog several miles home in the middle of the night. When I got home @12 , there was definitely a party. A good ~60 people were there. Tons of beer, beer pong, people smoking ciggs (yuck!), DJ, dancing, jungle juice, etc. Peer pressure was abound for me to drink. Happy to say, I took not even one sip! It was fun though, but I attribute it mostly to the good music the DJ Riddle put through the speakers. Disappeared into my room from 1-2 to play War Commander, and went back out as people started to leave.
I found something called Klout recently. It seems interesting, and is in line with my goals at Cal Poly Pomona and onwards. It would make a good peg to measure up my progress.

I joined the resistance against zombies Jan 23rd at 9pm. Let’s see how the 1 week infiltration goes. So excited! Starts 1/25/2011
Was supposed to be on ride with Mikey, but then had to last minute arrange rides with Greyhound, ended up arriving Jan 2nd morning
If you have been reading my blog, you may have noticed that my tone is rather down most of the time.
The reason? Well, it is certainly not because I am as down as it seems.
I pretty much only blog just before I have a exam or big homework assignment due. I guess its just a way for me to stress out the work I have.
Thus, I write several posts at once, and queue it up for several days worth of posts.
So when you see down posts? Probably, procrastination.
I really want to take up photography, but it is so expensive! Not to mention, it takes so much practice.
Either the new 4-3 format (Sony NES) or regular Canon EOS works for me. (I’m sorta a Nikon guy for quality photos though.. because my mom used to use a Nikon.)
Anyways, even a somewhat decent set costs several hundred $$. Well, I don’t feel like hedging that much money onto equipment I feel don’t contribute to my life.
It’s definitely a field for people very devoted (I’m sure the photo geeks love that amateurs are kept a safe distance away).
But damn. What a shame…I really want to shoot some great shots and manipulate them.
Quick fun fact: I was talking to the guy that works at the Berkeley Bike Station. His friend shot for National Geographic. Here’s what I learned. He shot two hundred rolls of film. For those Gen Yers that didn’t barely ever touch film, each roll of film contains 24-36 shots. So basically, he took 4800-7200 pictures. National Geographic only allow shots using natural lighting. Anyways, they picked out probably 5-6 shots for the magazine…but said he didn’t shoot enough pictures. They wanted more like 300 rolls. Damn!
